A flibbertijibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A clown!

OHMYGOD.
Can life get anymore stressfull??????
Agh.
Well, I should probably share my weekend story that I've been procrastinating
Day Before:
So, Saturday morning I woke up and got ready for my voice recital. Fixed the hair, put on the dress, slipped on the heels, sang the song, and then ran to the car so we could speed over to Roadrunner Sports to register and get bib numbers. After, we drove down to Coronado, and my Dad stopped making me read my book, Bliss (pretty legit btw, read it) so I could see all the sights. Ok.
Finally made it to the fancy schmancy hotel and grabbed lunch there. They had pretty cool bread in the basket. They also had free complimentary lemonade in the lobby. Pretty good.
We meet up with all my Mom's teacher friends, cause they were walking it as well, and we went to this one place called Miguels for dinner. It was pretty cool. I practiced speaking Spanish with the waiter, and had an amazing fish taco. Then drama happens
Scene : Hotel Room
Time: 9:02
Line: "...shit!"
Cause: Rachel Dillon left her shoes.
Repeat : Rachel Dillon left her shoes.
>:O
Rachel Dillon + leaving her shoes at home = NO RACE
Thank GOD one of my moms teacher friends had a pair in her car, in my size 10 1/2 :)

The Race:

Race Day! The race was...fun at first. I ran more than I walked the beginning. Took some pictures, talked to some people. Eventually I was up in front of my mom and her friends and was on my own. I hung out with the 3 hr mile pacer lady, who told me shes moving to Oceanside in Jan. I'll have to be on the lookout for her if I ever see her. But when mile 10 came around, all hell broke lose. Not only was it the worst part of the track (through a neighborhood??? come on!) but thats when I could feel the blisters and pain. Pushed through and sprinted at the end. 3:00:42 laster I was done, but I immeditaly sat my sorry squat down on the curb. Done.

School yesterday was horrible. Not only could I only walk around looking like something was shoved up my squat, but it was painful to get out of desks, in desks, go up stairs, down stairs, and do just about anything. Today wasn't that great either. Pain was better, but after school, my friend pretty much ditched me for our One Act Festival. I understand why, but I mean its something we had planned for a while and now all of the sudden its over. And its with her. Whatever.

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.”

Thank you Buddha
